Nat Geo Nominates Machupicchu For Traveler Award

Peru’s prized destination, Machupicchu, was nominated for an award by a traveler magazine. Demonstrating the World’s interest in the Peruvian archaeological site, National Geographic nominated Machupicchu for an award in the National Geographic Traveler Reader Awards.

Traveler magazine of the National Geographic has recognized Machupicchu to be a location demanding recognition in the category of “Overseas Attraction” in their Annual Award ceremony. Competing with Machupicchu in the category of “Overseas Attraction” is the Grand Canyon National Park in Colorado, the United States and the Australian Great Barrier Reef. But what does the rest of the World think of Machupicchu?
